Just need to know where the 3 wires from a d16y7 Idle Air Control Valve go to which ecu pinouts. Civic is a 98 (OBD2a) Reasoning below:


I recently bought a 98 Civic Ex that has a d16y7 engine with a y8 intake manifold, y8 engine wiring harness and a y8 ecu. Check engine light was on because it didn't read a vtec solenoid because there isn't one there.

In order to get rid of the CEL, I'm installing a y7 ecu and a y7 throttle body which uses a 3 wire Idle Air Control Valve. I need to know where the wires on the IACV plug go to which pinouts on the ecu.

 

Forgot to mention the IACV plug has the following color wires: Orange, Yellow/Black , and Black/Blue

I found on FFsquad that the orange wire most likely goes to pin A13. Just looking for the remaining 2.

For 96-98 civic

Black/blue goes to a14

Orange goes to a13.

 

The other black and yellow wire gets a switch 12 volt power from a 12v switched source.
