Ok, So my hatch is a CX, so it didn't come with side molding, thus it has no holes in the body for the clips.

The driver side fender was replaced by the previous owner with a regular fender with trim holes.
I'm not really wanting to buy a cx fender right now, but I HATE the the holes...

My question to you is... How do you think side markers would look installed on the fenders inside the trim line?

Never mind that the car is multiple shades or red, It will be repainted this spring.

 

your the one thats gonna see it everyday, drive it everyday, its your car do what "you" want i honestly don't think anyone here will back your decision.

 

IMO, it will look out of place.. get red tape and cover the holes lol.

 

That's what I'm afraid of... I guess I'll be in so deep with the bodywork that another 100 for the proper fender wont kill me...

 

um if it bothers you that much, get moldings for it or take it to a body shop and have them fill the holes and paint. please don't put the side marker there.
