2005 accord ex 4 cylender auto . check gas cap is flashing on instrument panel , i checked it, it was ok , bought new one warning still flashing ,tried resetting by pushing odometer reset wouldnt clear , and it didnt start flashing on the maintenance required symbal, what should i do next .thanks gds

 

I recall reading somewhere on this forum about some sort of EVAP solenoid that frequently fails. I had that code, did some other work, reset the codes, and so far it hasn't come back. You might want to do a search under EVAP Sol or something similar.
