I want to start a thread for some advice, and so I can keep track of some ****
I have
-type r b18c block 65k miles
-b16a sirII head with gsr cams 76ishk miles.
I'm gonna get b16 trans

All this is going into my ej2 (1994 dx) civic coupe.

Any ideas on what type of numbers ill see? And what ecu should I run

 

I will make a guess of 135-145 whp on a dyno jet lol. Or 160-170 flywheel hp. Let us know how it turnes out? engine managment?

 

^ha it's no a b18 non vtec 140hp? Stop trolling.

 

I'd say atleast 150 to the wheels. Ls are only 120.

 

Bench racing is against the rules.. why not search, there's plenty of dyno plots around

GF's GSR with 100k+ miles, with a DC sports header, 1 gen skunk2 manifold, Cut AEM v2 intake and stock exhaust made like 164whp with the jdm gsr ecu.

 

My 93 b18a1 had 140hp with intake and exhaust. I hope you all are messing with me.
B18c-r -200hp
B16a SIR 2 -16-168hp

How could I only reach 150? You guys are pullin my *****. I'm goin into the tuners today see what they say ill let you guys know

 

In for results! I was going to guess 160-185 whp but no one takes bench racing threads with partial info seriously lol.

 

those numbers are to the flywheel. now subtract about 15% when you measure to the wheels.

i think 150-180 is a good accurate range. depending on setup, dyno, tuner and such.

 

180 I hope lol, I'm picking up a type r ecu tomorrow

 

Well lets be honest. If it shows up as 170whp it may be 180whp on a different dyno. There is a difference in numbers between dynos. So dont be dissipointed based on a insignificant number that a simple machine spits out
