Icon2 B18A1 PURCHASE

This friday im gonna buy this b18a1 out of this 93 teg. has 170000 on it and hasnt been sitting outside too long (junkyard) guy started it up and seemed to idle good, asking 400$ for it. is it a good deal? no obvious problems with it

400 for a running engine seems fair. 170 is about half life for most honda engines.

Do a compression test on it, min is 135psi and no more then 28psi diff between any cylinders, 184psi is standard.

If the compression is good and engine comes complete, [everything on it] then $400 is not bad.

If compression is bad. either low or off by more then 28psi, offer $200 for it, it's worth at least that in parts. 94
