Ok guys, I hope a good guy Greg can help me out. I recently snapped a stud on my cat converter. Fumes are entering my cabin. I know I would have to either drill out or some how remove the stud. But that does not guarantee that the thread on the cat it self will still be usable for another stud to thread in there.

Any suggestions on repairing the OEM CAT?

My other option is to buy a test pipe for 25 bucks on ebay.

I like this idea, but I don't have a header, so I am unsure if the test pipe will be compatible with the OEM manifold.
And by the way fellas what type of gasket would you recommend for the test pipe and where would I be able to find this unicorn ?
