So I did research cause my battery light came on and stayed on, I read that it's a sign that Altenator is going bad..what else I read

belt loose.
alternator bad
battery going

question is to take off the Altenator it's only 2 bolt, adjuster bolt on top and the bottom bolt.... right?

Asking cause its 12 degrees outside so wanna be sure before messing with it

 

If youre not sure what the problem is why would you take it out? cant you go to advance auto parts or some place like that where they can test you battery and charging system for free?

What Coopa B18c5 said, take the car to any batt. shop and have them check the cars charging system and batt., it will be free, it takes a few min. 94

 

just a little input, i just took mine off for the second time it makes it a little easier if you take the oil filter off. gives an extra 3 inches or so to wiggle with. had a hard time before i took the filter off.
