I assume you're smelling gas fumes?

The fuel pump access in the del sol is under the plastic panels behind the seats. Maybe there is some fuel leak around the pump seal in the top of the gas tank.

Maybe the fuel filter has a leak? (Under hood by firewall)

If you're smelling burning oil fumes after being driven than maybe what you are smelling is an oil leak from the passenger side of the engine main oil seal leaking on to the hot exhaust pipe. This leak doesn't always get to the ground.

I have a 93 & 94 del sol. They also smell like mold from the leaking roof seals.

I smell gas because of the pump in the back, Think i have a small leak or something back there.
