Default color change
Why does this paint change color so much, from sunlight to shade?
It's Acrylic Enamel, no clear coat.

its probably just the pigment in the paint or there could be fine metalic or pearls in it. My guess is that its just the pigment

It's the pigment then, cause there isn't any metalic or pearl in it either. Would a clear coat change anything?

Why do you say there is no clear coat? Is it single stage? Could it just be that there is less light hitting the panal?

Single stage, yes. I've never seen a color change this much in sunlight.

Looks like VW Jazz Blue Pearl or Audi Nogaro Blue, they both do that too with very fine pearl flakes which only show under direct light.

Single stage still has clear in it, just isnt as UV resistant
