Great event today @ Gingerman. Saw a few Honda-tech folk there:
Mugen22
MugenMike
Effect
BrewcityR
1107
K
Sackdz
Wai
CanuckR
And others I can't remember right now.
Nick Wong had his Skyline there but something let go (maybe a hose?) Only major incident was a Viper into the armco, lost its brakes smacked it pretty good. Overall a good day.
Any one have pics yet?

Just got home, very tired, but had a lot of fun -- going sideways.
Cold temp made the track surface super slick. I've never seen so many off track incidence (in all run groups) in a single track day. I went 2-wheel and 4-wheel off, once each; and spun twice within the pavement. Tail got lost several times without squealing, etc etc.
But regardless, it was great fun and always a pleasure to see fellow h-t'ers!

to yet another quality Speedtrials event. Thanks Brian and the rest of the crew/instructors. Shame about the Viper... but considering the circumstances it could have been much worse. All in all, it was chilly as hell with only a few minutes of warm sun, but was fun nonetheless. Man the track sure was slippery in the morning, felt like driving in the rain. I spun only once, on the very first lap of the day coming out of 6.
Most of you probably missed the little incident in the paddock after the event, involving my car, Wai's car, donni_ek's. Anyways
to everyone for keeping a cool head, and
to the responsible party for doing what needed to be done.sack-who needs some new paint

Sacdz and me in my itr, Wai and Donni_ek in his hatch.
this monster was out rolling people
donni_ek's hatch. we busted our asses this weekend to get this thing tracky worthy.
trying to account for the itr's that were out
sexy.
It was nice to meet new people and see friendly faces again. Wish I could do it more often. It was donni_ek's first track event and he had a blast and rolled a bunch of cars in his ls-t. Ed, thanks for instructing me in the morning. More pics to come. Glad everyone came off the track safe.
Hope to see you all soon, scott_k.

Just got home my damn self...
Yeah, today was a really nice event. Got a few ride alongs with WAI(we loved the spin out
) and also Brewcity R(Arron)...
Met a few H-T peeps too. And the skyline owner said it was a coolant line.
Hopefully next summer my car wont be on the sidelines, but more on the track...
Oh yeah, thanks for the stickers Scott.

Don't worry about my car Ed. It's just the bumper, as it's all scratched up already anyway.
Ha no kidding. Today I was going at least 4 sec slower than the last 2 times I was there last month. Tires never got up to temp, plus when I changed out the tires, I found that the rear ones were slightly corded. No wonder why the rear couldn't stay planted.

Hey Arron, I was trying to tell you that the others got caught at the light. hahaha, thats why I dropped back and took us awhile to catch up.. But if they hadnt got caught at the light, we would have got back to chicago in no time(hahaha).
And thanks for the ride along. And we also thought the caravan was fun too
We gotta do it again come next spring/summer. But this time I'll be on the track with you guys.
And also, who the hell was the kid with the black 5th gen. hatch... Not only was his car fast, but he had some major skills y)
That kid was incredible. And had a nice hatch. Is he on honda-tech and anyone got pics of his ride?

Definetly a great event at Gingerman yesterday. Props to Brian and Russ for a job well done, and I look forward to some great events next year. I don't know if any of you guys remember us, but we were the guys from one6 Motorsports. I was driving the Blue WRX sedan, another guy was in the blue single cam h/b, and the third guy was in the gray 3series coupe with plates that Matt seemed to REALLY like lol. Well anyway, I remember talking to a couple of you guys and hope to see you guys out there next year.

I got home pretty late last night and past out cold!!
Overall it was a good event besides having clutch problems that ended my day a little early and pk's (97 itr) oil leak which ened his day after the first session.
Glad to see a few 97's there along with the other itr's.
I have a bunch of pictures that I will up-load and post later today when I get out of work.
