Default new brakes

I'm loookking to see iuf anyone knows who makes a complete brake upgrade for all four corners of the CRX si. It's a '90. I tried looking around Wilwoods a nd Brmebos site and only found a front setup on Wilwood's site. i'd like to upgrade all around if possibly. Help anyone (with knowledge)

Upgrading the rears is next to pointless. Prolly 80-90% of braking is done by the front....

But yet you could not answer my question as to who makes an application for the Si for an upgraded caliper and possibly a part number for such an application. I was lookinig for information on product. i do realize the distribution of braking on a CRX. If it were equal then the fronts and rears would be interchangeable. I would though like to upgrade the rears if possible because I have been on a race track with hardly any rear brake what so ever and I was not comfortable with it at all.

I could not find ANY big brake upgrades for my 89 civic, I did do a 91 integra disk upgrade for the rear(for the handbrake mostly). For the front I recomend power slot rotors and some hawk brake pads. I know AEM makes a big brake kit for 92+ civics, maybe you can fit it somehow.

I already have Panther plus pads to put on all around. The main reason I thought about upgrading though was because I think my right rear is starting to drag and I would just end up going thru pads like crazy. So i fyou have an opportunity to upgrade, then why not. I'm not really looking for bigger just better. I'm definately not looking at putting on brakes that would require a 17 inch wheel. Much to big. I'd like to run the stock rotor with an upgraded caliper to be honest with you . Plus I already have Goodridge lines to put on as well.

To me stopping is more important then going fast as hell. I know I can get there fast enuff, i just want to stop once I get there.

Fast brakes or Willwood for the front would be very awesome and just put the 90-91 Teg rear disk setup on the rex and you'll have 9" rotors in the rear.

Add SS brake lines and a larger master cylinder and you will be stopping so fast you'll have to wear glasses to catch your eyeballs.

yeha I have the lines and I was thinking that the larger cylinder would be the next time in time.

The wilwood is the front setup that I like the most but would love to have another set in the rear to complement it. i just dont think that is feasable at the moment.

My setup is : Front integra brakes with Brembo brakes and Sure Stop pads. Rear integra brakes with Brembo barkes and Sure Stop pads. Take a integra non-abs 15/16'' master cylindre with the booster and the porportionning valve (4040)

It's good to put some goods brakes (rotors) ans good pads, but if you don't have a BIG master cylindre and the good porportionning valve in your brake upgrading, that's not the best way to take to have the best brake feeling.

By the way, Brembo make all the disks and Sure Stop make all the pads for all the corners of your crx...And Brembo is pretty good.

i am running the front knuckles and rear trailing arms from a 90 teg ls, with goodridge lines all around, 90 teg ls proportioning valve, and 91 crx si master cylinder. big improvement in braking, and i reused the shitty rotors and pads that were from the donor car. once i get the chance, i want to do remanufactured calipers all around and some new pads/rotors. but that is $$$$. stopping good enough for now!! just need some ebrake cables...... sell me some!!!

Wreckedhatch : For a little 50$ maybe, put a HUGE 15/16'' non-abs integra master cylindre. Just with this, it's amazing... All this brakes modifications on my '91 civic is ones of the best thing that i make on my car...

By the way too, before the 15/16 '' master, I had the 7/8'' crx master... The difference is big, very big...
