love riding in this weather
its in the 60's most of the days now in the Dallas area. for some reason thats just perfect riding weather for me.
joe rocket phoenix jacket gets hung up in the closet and the heavy Tour Master comes out (dont have the warm lining in it...yet - i'll stuff that in the box under the seat in case i get caught out riding late at nite when it cools off.)
cooler weather and my air-cooled inline 4 is feeling snappy and rev happy. all the people in the cage think you're crazy as the temperatures fall. but the fire in the soul keeps you warm.
check the tire pressure and make sure the tires are warm before diving into the corners.
engine's warm, tires are warm, getting to the twisty part, lean her over. nothing fills your mind except the road ahead as you watch for the apex of the turn. ears hearing the rush of the wind and the scream of the motor, outside knee pressed against the tank, inside knee reaching for the ground, toes on pegs, lean leaaaaaaan.
you're alive.

Nicely said. Believe it or not, we (your old area) got a nice cool down this past week. I feel the exact same way. Its nice not ALWAYS sweating.
