squishy clutch cold weather.
basically, when the car is in underground or in warm weather (heated garage ) the clutch is fine. feels like springy cable trans. Well, it's -41 celcius here in canada, with humidity reaching up to 90%. I'm using DOT3 brake fluid in my cylinder. I've noticed fluid level drops 1-2cm every 2 months. Very low to refill. Also, is a little dirty.
now, when I go to start my car, yes it's very squishy; that does go away when the car heats up. but when I'm driving ( operating temp), itll begin to get squishy again ( not ridiculous sticky, just stickier than it should normally feel), not while idling, just driving. ( this has only happened when it's -41 it's ridiculously cold over here. like where I have to crank my car and give it a bit of gas to stay alive for first start no block heater either.) I'm just curious if this is cold related? Could it be from it sucking up some water and being able just to get that much colder/less liquidly and be able to get squishy? Also the fact when I'm cruising, I'm sure it gets colder because well i'm moving, and rank cold air and water could affect its performance as apposed to just idling. Anyway relatively warm weather, it acts fine.
Just wanted a more informative/accurate or even some ideas to help my hypothesis or disagree.
Note: clutch/tranny has never ever slipped, it has 80,000km, never popped out of gear or problems going into gear, even at high rpm's with spirited driving.

after idling and it going back to normal, after about 10-15 minutes of driving, it'll start to get a little squishy again. Anyway, it'll be warmer today about -10C, not sure yet with wind chill I'll know in the AM. Gonna see if it gets any better. Not that this affects my driving, it's just annoying n feels kinda dumb to where i'd to get it fixed to fully enjoy the civ haha.
