Looking for a Honda Accord at competitive prices
As you can see from the title I'd like to find the best place where I could buy a Honda Accord sedan (a used one).
What reliable dealers you know offering used Honda Accord models?
Thinking to get green or black colored one.
Thanks in advance.

If you want to pay more then you should, then by all means go to a dealer and get ripped off. Private sales are the way to go. Get a carfax report and get it checked by mechanic if in doubt. Not to mention you can talk them down more then those greasy used car salesmen and possibly have it gifted so you don't have to pay tax. I know this works in Canada, but not 100% sure if it does in America. Good luck.

Craigslist
AutoTrader
eBay
CarMax
etc
You make no mention of the year you're looking for, trim, auto/manual, 4cyl or v6, or really any other information.
I'd like to buy a pet.
Haha, I got my Accord from a private sale on Craigslist. Definitely do not go to a frickin'dealer. They will tear you a new one over pricing b/c they are always after a commission. Definitely DO have a mechanic on site to look at everything before you buy it. (I had one on hand and hekps out with the pricing when they see potential problems.) Just make it seem like you are looking and not desparate. As you start to walk away, usually they'll lower the price a little... If they start to lower it a lot, then you'll know something's definitely wrong with the car.
Think that you will make a good choice. A honda accord is a nice car. It has many useful functions and it's very good at speed, etc. But you should also know all the mistakes people do when buying a used car.
You know, at Kuni Honda you will find your favorite Honda models at competitive prices. I've heard that any used car has been through a detailed inspection by their auto mechanics.

not trying to jack the thread but nobody has posted on it for a few days... I live in canada and im looking at a 2000-2002 accord coupe with the 2.3L F23a1 with the 5-speed. I saw in a earlier post somebody was from Canada and rust is the biggest factor, what are some hidden rust spots these accord get? ALso in general anything you think to look for that arent obvious?
ps: not looking at swapping in the H22 or anything along those lines since id just get a civic and throw in a K20 for that. just looking for a reliable car with a bit of enjoyment, my fast days are in the past with my gti and spending all my money.....haha

check the rear wheel wells for rust, if you get lucky and there is no rust take that as a good sign. I recommend removing the rubber moldings but that's my personal preference.
Look for leaks around the valve cover, beneath the distributor, spark plug holes, and the oil pan. Check for axle boot tears, power steering boot tears, and make sure the radiator is not leaking, ans the T-stat remains at the correct operating temp.

The rear wheel wells on a honda i feel like you gotta be blind to not know about that problem haha, but the rubber moldings like the fender liner? alright the power steering is known to leak eh. I know ball joints fail on the civic alot is that the same issue with the accord? Where does the accord sit on the temp gauge, like my vdub sits at right in the middle. I tried searching where it should sit but i only got where where it shouldnt be because people dont realize they have a leaky rad. thanks for the advice!
Also to anybody in Ontario, anybody use the place 'Japanese direct' I figure since the F23A1 is abused they become oil burners i could swap it out for a japan sourced F23A1

Yes the rubber molding in the rear wheel well, they trap alot of grime and dirt for 10+ years, and many people neglect that section when cleaning their car.
The power steering is hit or miss when it comes to leaks, my old accord was 200K + in miles, I never had a leak in the power steering. My current accords steering rack is leaking, although it's not bad it's annoying.
Ball joints are also hit or miss, and they are easy to replace, as well as cheap if you do it yourself.
The temp gauge should rest below the middle mark, word of advice if you are going to replace the t-stat GET OEM!

thanks for the feedback man, ya I do everything myself. Im looking forward to a much simpler car in comparison to my gti to work on. Im gonna replace ball joints, tstat and little things off the bat along with all fluids. Also im trying to get used to the jdm and oem. JDM is from honda and oem is from a parts store right?
I am seeing the car's saturday and sunday so I will update as soon as i do. the one on sunday is what I have my heart set on since it doesnt have abs.

oem is original parts from the manufacturer for example VW, Honda, Nissan etc.
JDM means japanese domestic market which are cars suited for the japanese market. JDM is popular because their cars have extra features, be it more HP, cosmetics, suspension etc. Anyway Google is at your disposal do some research.

SO updating like i said i would but unfortunately the car was a crap shoot, tranny grinds, oil leaking from what looked like the crankshaft seal which i know is not too much work on these F23A1 but for the money asked it wasn't worth it with the body looking like crap too. Saw a 97 Ek hatchback which for the money was a win but a accord coupe is always easier on the eyes haha
Ive been all over google, im concerned about mechanics then cosmetic anyway
The farthest I would go cosmetically is getting a Ek hatch and throwing on the EL front end which in my opinion looks sweet.
