Fuel Pump not priming
Before I layout the question this is some background info...the car has been parked for a year and has old gas, about 1/4 tank still left in it. The car is running on a p28 chipped ecu and also has fresh 60k h22.
So the problem is that the fuel pump is not priming. I have helms manual so I did all the diagnostic checking myself. I checked if theres voltage to the fuel pump and there is. I also connected my battery to the fuel pump to hear it prime. I heard a wining sound but it didnt sound like it was priming just some kind of whirling sound. I also pulled the PGM-FI main relay and ran some diagnostics on it. I replaced it with a brand new one from Honda and it still isn't priming! Any suggestions or help?
