1997 Odyssey battery light problem
My wife's 97 Odyssey had a battery light come on . We tested the alternator & battery at AutoZone, and the battery was bad...was the FACTORY ORIGINAL !!!
Replaced the battery, and the charge light / ABS light comes on intermittently or for long periods...and the lights dimmed / heater fan slowed down occasionally.
What gives ? Bad cable / connection somewhere ? Or something more expensive ?

If you test the alternator when the light is off the alternator will most likely pass the test. You need to test the alternator when the light is on. The problem is going to be the alternator.
