front main seal changed, now rear leaking..b20
not sure if this is the right forum..i changed the oil pan gasket and the front crank seal. seems like that stopped the leak from the drivers side of the car. but i went and checked the dipstick a day or two later and the oil was low. backed the car out of the garage and see oil on the ground coming from transmission side. so i think that the rear wasn't leaking but now it is.
called a shop and they want 42 bux just to look at it on a lift and tell me where the leak is coming from. they said they don't even do rear main's..
is there something like a bad pcv valve that would cause the rear main seal to blow out if it wasn't leaking before? and also i'm thinking of doing this myself to save on cash, but does the gasket behind the rear main seal engine cover need to be changed out as well, or does only the "O" ring gasket need to be changed?

bump..also having problems with my tranny, hard to shift into 1st, 3rd and 5th scratch in high rpms, and also not sure if it is my clutch. anything else i should get into or look out for while changing the rear main seal? thinking of taking it to a transmission shop so they can look at my tranny.
