Oil leak investigation
I'm leaking oil a lot. I have no idea why it's leaking really bad right now, than before when I changed the clutch in my car and had to drop the transmission. I'm pretty sure it's the RMS plate rather than the RMS itself. I've replaced the cam cap seal (no more leaking), the dizzy o-ring isn't leaking, replaced the oil cooler o-ring even though it wasn't bad as I replaced it a few months ago, and the only other leak that is possible is the RMS. The reason is I have the engine stiffener off of the oil pan and transmission and if I look up underneath it. I could see like an oil puddle underneath the RMS plate. I should have never used Honda's ultra flange on that ****, but used hondabond. I've also replaced the oil pan gasket too. I don't think that it's leaking. It could also be the valve cover leaking, but I cannot tel if it's leaking since the fuel rail is blocking my view (I don't know how to safely remove it to check the back of the engine block) for oil coming out of it.
Some people have said it could be the valve cover gasket leaking also. From what I can tell is there is a black line running long the back. Now, if that is old or new is beyond me. What confuses me is why does the helms manual only say put it on the 8 corners where the head bends. Now why not completely around the valve cover gasket? Is there a good way of checking the VC for leaks on the back (since it's at a slant) due to the closeness of the VC and head mating surface is to the fuel rail?

Yeah, I know. I just don't really want to do that job. Took 2 months last time I pulled off my transmission to replace my clutch, but then again I was saving up for a transmission jack and whatnot. Only thing that was a pita to do was getting the annoying axles out and getting the transmission to align with the engine. Broke a clutch trying to align it. ¬_¬ Trying to get the axle off and back on the halfshaft wasn't fun.
