Worked great, parked her and came back later and now the transmission will not engage any gear while the car is running. I'm thinking a clutch swap is in order but I've never had a trans just go out on me like that. Slowly/gradually going away but never as sudden as it did. Any enlightenment before i get on egay and get a new clutch/flywheel assembly?

 

have you checked your hydraulics?

 

yea reservoir full, i'm going to see if bleeding it helps but i don't see how all of a sudden its all gone in the line and full in the reservoir

 

Clutch system has a failure. Likely the clutch or CMC.

im going to assume the clutch, 230k with unknown history who knows if it was ever replaced

After changing the fluid it DOES shift now it is just has a small tick in some of the gears.
