headlights fading?
I haven't seen it myself, but my friend was on the freeway with me in another car and said that one of my headlights is brighter than the other. I check the wires but didn't find anything out of place. I haven't looked at it myself with the headlights on at night, but I figure he's right.
Any idea what would make this happen?

Yeah I talked to some of my friends, one said that headlights are aligned so that the headlight on the right side of the car is projecting slightly higher, so that at some angles one may appear brighter than the other. Is that right?
I don't know about the alternator being unhappy.. But since all headlight circuits are the same, my answer would have to be that you have excessive resistance in that headlight socket or wire.. Take the bulb out and see if the socket is dirty or corrodded..
