Default Need input on a UKDM ITR header

I recently cracked my DC header and bought an RMF style by PLM to replace it. but the PLM header was only an inch from my radiator fan which would probably melt it...

so I talked to some people and they say since I have an older DC header, before they sold out, it would probably be better wielded than the PLM header is.

I wielded it and put it back on but, I cant stand the crack, even wielded up, and im going to change it sooner or later so I might as well keep shopping.

SO FAR...
I found an ITR header and it is going for $100 but it is a UKDM itr header
with a 2.25 collector. the DC is a 2.25 as well I think. Does anyone know if this UKDM ITR header is better than what I'd find else where for under 300?

and does anyone want the RMF style by PLM?

Default Re: ITR header only $100

Why not just wrap the PLM in heat wrap?

Also, those shrouds are made to take extreme heat under the hood. Mine sat an inch and a half from a turbo and never warped, discolored, or cracked. It's a pretty safe bet that my turbo got a lot hotter than your header does. I wouldn't even worry about it, but if you are, heat wrap.
