I have every bolt on possible with a chipped ecu and I still use the factory recommended plugs! No reason to change unless your boosted or running nos. NGK all day every day.
whats stock ngk? my plugs that are in there now are not stock.
side note...how many mpg are u getting? im doing about 23-25mpg mostly highway sitting at about 3700-4100 rpm.

Whats the ngk model number you use? whats the difference between the laser/platinum/iridium or should i just got with the $2.50 ngk and change them every 5000 miles or so. I can never get 32 out of mine, and it dosent see vtec more than once or twice a month. I think the 2.5 exhaust it has doesnt help...

I couldn't tell you model number off hand. Platinum and iridium plugs last much longer then the $2.50 copper plugs. I go with Iridium's just because that is what I use in my other cars that get over 50,000 miles put on them in a year. Performance wise, no difference
I have 2.5' exhaust myself. The only thing that is different is my gsr motor is in a 2,000 lbs chassis
When I was actually trying to get good mileage I managed 34.5 average, but I have only been able to get that kind of mileage about 2 or 3 times

If you go to the NGK website, and click on the part finder, you can input your vehicle and engine to bring up what spark plugs work for your car, including part numbers. The following platinum and iridium plugs are recommended for GS-R motors:
Of these four, the Laser Platinums are noted on NGK's website as the OEM part for the GS-R motor. I personally run G-Power's, but only because of money constraints and engine problems currently.
NGK spark plugs were specifically designed for Japanese engines, just like Bosch is designed for German engines, as well as other brands of plug for other motors. Stick with NGK. As I like to say: If it ain't fucked, don't **** with it.
- G-Power (Platinum), Part Number: BKR6EGP
- Laser Platinum, Part Number: PFR6G-13
- OE Laser Iridium, Part Number: IFR6E11
- Iridium IX. Part Number: BKR6EIX-11

ngk 6's
copper is actually more conductive than irridium but does not last nearly as long. if this was a car that was difficult to change the plugs in i'd say irridium. beings it's a b series, get copper. they take minutes to change. just swap them out every 2 years
