spoon vs mugen steering wheel opinions
Im in the market for a new steering wheel, Ive narrowed it down to either the spoon leather wheel, mugen RIII or mugen FG-360 wheel. Pricing is right around the same and it will be attached via nrg quick release and hub for security reasons.
Heres where I need your opinions and experience. Ive never driven or held anyone of these wheels and the last thing i want is to put it into the car and not like it. I wanted to know any pros and cons you guys had with either one of these wheels. i also want a wheel thats pretty thick to hold on too unlike the nardi wheels that are pretty thin.
thanks for the help

I have had several wheels throughout the years and hands down my Spoon wheel has been my favorite. There is nothing I don't like about my Spoon wheel other than the stitching has faded significantly and it has gotten a little beat up. However, I've been using it everyday for over 3 years on my DD. When you factor in how much I've used mine it has held up exceptionally well.

I've had a Mugen Racing III recently and didn't mind it, but I felt like I woulda liked it more with driving gloves since that's what it was designed to be driven with. I got rid of it tho while the suede was in great condition since I was going to street drive it (bare hands kills suede fast) for a little before taking it to a track. Mugen is also not as much to grab onto also... then again, I am 6'3 and have long alien fingers lol I plan on getting a thicker wheel and think I'll enjoy it a little more. Suede also fades quicker than leather.
Never had a Spoon but have seen/felt a friends, both wheels look better/smaller in person that's for sure.
Mugen - track only (in my opinion)
Spoon - Street or track
