Freezing COLD A/C & Hot Heater (all components and r134 original from factory and has not given me an issue)
HISTORY:
I have owned this vehicle for a little over a year and have daily driven it every day (approx. 20k miles thus far) since it became drivable! When I purchased this car I bought it with a blown engine (Hole in the block) and very poorly maintained by the previous owner engine and interior wise. Ever since then I worked hard to bring it to what I feel is a great car by replacing everything that is vital to have it run right and be reliable/problem free! So far I have almost got it to where I wanted it but I feel the time is right to buy myself something a lot newer! Anyways I am going to provide some history on what has been changed since ownership (which is a lot) because I want to be meticulous and honest:
*GOODS/Parts Changed:
-97 Honda Crv B20B1 Long block with 130,XXX miles…when I bought it the mileage was stated as 110k according to the VIN on it..I put 20k since then and so now it has around 130kish…I put the I/M, header, etc. from the 99 to keep it looking stock 99 instead of the tall manifold! Previous owner said they replaced the water pump and belt @110k (which was inspected & seems to be factual)
-99 Honda Crv 4wd Transmission with 123, XXX miles with new axle seals (had this replaced by Wil at IDB Racing. He’s done a lot of work for me on this car to get it where I want and great shop to deal with!)
Both items were purchased off craigslist by different sellers!
*GOODS/Everything Misc. for preventative maintenance/needing it to get this car right I’m going to try my best to go from the beginning to parts changed recently (these parts have less than 20K) Some of this work was done by me or Wil @ IDB Racing:
1. Long block as stated above with verification
2. Gas & Air Filter
3. I/M Gasket OEM HONDA
4. Passenger lower ball joint (advanced auto)
5. Thermostat (Autozone)
6. Fan switch on thermostat (Autozone)
7. Power steering hardline because it rusted out and was leaking (got it from another Cr-v at junkyard)
8. OEM Honda New Pressure line to the power steering reservoir
9. Acura RSX Head unit and Odyssey Tape deck (battery was draining but Wil @ IDB Racing was able to find the power drain which was the stock radio)
10. Gold top Battery (Autozone)
11. A/C, Alt., & Power Steering belts because they were aged
(^all these parts were changed before I got the car registered to be able to daily it and put under my name to get inspection and registration done!)
**Less than 10k miles on all these parts listed below:
12. All purchased New: ICM (in distributor), Spark Plug Wires, Spark Plugs, Cap & Rotor (Done by Wil @ IDB Racing because car was dying while driving but no problem since)
13. Valve adjustment since valves are known to tighten up on b20’s (done by Wil @ IDB Racing)
14. Front Rotors, Brake Pads, and Calipers. (new from advanced auto)
15. Driver side Axle (new from advanced auto)
16. Driver side Window Regulator ( new from advanced auto)
17. Rear Drum Brakes, Drum Covers, Passenger rear has a new hard brake line and internal brake valve (new from advanced auto)
18. Aftermarket Catalytic Converter & new aftermarket B-Pipe with an OEM Muffler attached.
**Parts Changed and work done by Wil @IDB Racing with less than 500 miles on them since replacement (11/28/12).
19. New o2 OEM HONDA Sensors (primary and secondary)
20. New Transmission CRV 4wd transmission with 120k (both new axle seals, new transmission fluid, torque converter from new trans.)
21. Rewired the knock sensor since 97 blocks don’t have them and I’m running the stock 99 wiring & ECU.
22. Tightened up misc. bolts that were loose on the engine.
**Bads /Items I would replace in the near future:
1. Bushings/Tie Rods (car is squeaky sometimes in colder weather because some are dry rotted or bad (car was originally from Wisconsin). Wil @ IDB Racing can do it..would of taken care of this if I didn’t decided to upgrade now!
2. Some parts have rust (driver side fender on the edge..look by the d/s headlight in the pictures and some bolts although a lot of the parts have been replaced that had rust!) Car was in diff. climate conditions when it was in Wisconsin!
3. Carpet has a hole in the driver side but I got floor mats out of a 2010 CRV and covers up everything..I pressure washed it because it was muddy from the previous owner!
4. Havent driven it much since replacing the transmission..I drove it over 500 miles since it but car has been sitting in the driveway since I got a new car. Nothing bad but just want to be honest.
5. Tires may need a rotation and balancing
***Accessories (will take parts off to adjust price of car accordingly if you want it for cheaper. I put a * by what can be adjusted)
• *07 Acura TL Base wheels with 3 out 4 matching tires all with 85-90% tread
(I have OEM CRV EX wheels with not so good tires I will include if I get my asking but if lowered significantly you will just get the Crv EX wheels and NO the TLs)
• *97-01 OEM CRV Full Nose mask/Bra
• *Front Ram Bar with working OFFROAD Lights wired to a switch
• OEM Luggage Adjustable Luggage rack (does come in handy)
• OEM Hard cover spare tire (not that flimsy crap other ones come with)
• 2010 OEM CRV Floor mats (fit decently not perfect but better than not have any or aftermarket junk)
• ACURA RSX Single Din CD Player & Odyssey OEM Tape Deck (use the tape deck for aux to use phone/iPod)...I can provide a single din stock civic dx radio and single din tray under it
• Working OEM Clock (soldered it to work. These are a common 1g CRV issue).
• OEM CRV Picnic table on the back portion
• OEM sliding tray under the passenger seat
• OEM foldable center counsel and driver side arm rest
Maintenance:
*Engine oil always changed around 3.5k miles with Castrol or Pennsoil and Fram or OEM oil filter!
*Transmission fluid completely flushed less than 500 miles ago
I tried to cover all the history since I have owned it…as you can tell I have done so much to it to get it where I wanted it. I wasn’t finished but was almost there…I believe this CRV can do another 100k easily if properly maintained…I have done so much to meet this goal and wouldn’t hesitate to drive it longer distances! Great work truck…I would load it with large car parts because the rear seats fold down and creates a lot of cargo space. Good car to take to the beach bc of awd and OEM picnic table in the rear cargo area.
***Price is set at 4500 OBO..I have an idea of the price I will sell it with everything (don’t ask just throw your best offer) but if not I will take certain parts off of it if you want it for a lower price!
**Both Stickers are good (03/13 registration & 11/13 Inspection) No CELS or anything!
***CAR has never been in any major accidents and all panels have original matching vin stickers.
READ PLEASE: I will be taking off my TXDOT EZ tag and will report this car to DPS (via online) as sold with seller’s info to get all liability off my name right there on the spot!…Not going to deal with headaches of people thinking they won’t be liable for tickets and tolls... so be prepared to present a valid State Driver’s License…IF YOU CANT COMPLY THEN DON’T BOTHER!
Exterior:
^dent is located on the rear passenger door…does not affect door at all..just cosmetic!
^had a ladder on it one day and top oem nose mask on it!
^stock wheels if the price is under what I want or will be included with the right price!
^when I had ssr’s (sold those) and full nose mask on it!
Interior:
^has a oem tape player I would use as an aux to connect either my phone or ipod..works well!
Engine:
BONUS:
^so you can change the rear diff. fluid…haven’t gotten around to doing that

Don't be scared to offer my pricing is flexible..I have a number set for how much ill give it with every part I have for it..but under that number ill take off whatever I feel is reasonable
