You bought a cheap subframe brace, and it doesn't fit. Simple as that. Contact BWR, or whoever you got it through, and try to get a warranty replacement. If you bought it used...throw it in the garbage and spend the money on a good kit.

If your subframe isn't damaged then you bought a crappy BWR product. Call them about it.

Get your money back and go with a legit company like ASR or Function7.

You get what you pay for. My ASR fit beautifully. Sucks I cant re-use my EK brace/bar on my Integra

Return the crap and get an ASR or Function7. My ASR fit like it was an OEM part, no issues whatsoever (and the neochrome looks puuurrty)

Correct one? It's pretty clear that the brace is not for an EG based off of the swaybar bracket holes. That and the box itself says it's for a '96-'00 Civic...

Well, the OP says his car is a 98. If those are pictures of his car on Imageshack then it's the right brace.

It's a service based company that allows companies or individuals to buy or sell products on the internet. You can buy (at your own risk) BWR products on eBay.

How do you have to be a spoiled brat to afford good parts? Or rich even?
BWR is a cheap know-off company. That much is well known and is "not surprising".

BWR is a cheap, knock-off company that makes shitty parts. Do some research.

At least it's not eBay. We aren't all rich parent sponsored brats.
And what is this about rich parent sponsored brats? I usually don't say anything, but comments like this infuriate me because most people I meet in person assume this of me because I'm still in college. Just because someone buys QUALITY parts and not cheap **** doesn't mean they are rich spoiled *********. I'm 20. Since subframe braces are the topic, I'll use suspension for example. I have roughly $2,500 invested in my suspension. I work 2 part time jobs, school full time, and no daddy ain't paying my bills, and I build my own car. It may take me longer to save for a part than other people, I'm no baller, sometimes I can barely make rent, but because I buy reputable parts and take pride in my ride does that make me some spoiled kid when I have worked my *** off for everything I own, including my car. Hell, my ctr headlights/retrofit set up cost me almost $800, I'm just a college kid with no help from family. This isn't just about me either, it includes everyone else that has busted their *** that buys reputable, quality parts.

Shouldn't talk **** or make comments like that on the internet. Makes you look like an ***.

I'm sorry, what?

If this company had the R&D they claimed to have this wouldn't happen.

That pocket on the car looks way deeper then the one on my civic and I also notice on the youtube video if you pause it at 0.19 that does not look like your normal EK Lower control arm. This car is also from Greece, so maybe the USA model could be different.

Maybe he meant it doesn't look like a normal subframe? If it were me, I'd just get s stack of washers if the bolt holes all lines up. Or have a shop fab up some spacers.

And as for BWRs parts being made here in the US? So what? You can still get shitty products from a home grown company just like a foreign one. And they're still knockoffs. No R&D. And no company logo that I can see anywhere in the pics (unless I'm missing it). Could be anywhere.
