Default Genuine Honda ATF

I have an 09 crv and have been bringing to the dealer for maintenance due to the 3 year warantee. Warantee is over and time for my 2nd tranny fluid change I have a little over 30,000miles on it. Can I use any ATF fluid or does it have to be Honda ATF it says in my manual to use genuine honda ATF??

you can use any ATF for Honda/Acura from your auto parts store if you like...me I'm sticking with the OEM Honda ATF

...if your don't care and not going to keep the car/suv long put whatever you want in it..if you want to keep it forever, take care of it right with OEM

Use OEM, you will only cause issues and possibly damage by using other fluids. Up to you though

Oem is best for your vehicle. It was specifically designed to be used in your transmission whereas other atfs were not.
