Icon2 WEIRD STEERING PROBLEM

Ever since I bought my 1998 Civic EX in October I've noticed something really strange in the steering. I'll try my best to explain whats wrong. So when I turn my steering wheel to the left it turns good and smooth but when I try turning my wheel to the right it kinda freezes up so i have to use a little more force on it and sometimes it when it freezes up it suddenly becomes softer making me turn harder than i wanted and while im turning right the steering wheel keeps wanting to go to the left so i have to holding it tight until im done with the turn.

Anyone have an idea what to look for?
