Car ran fine up until i installled my s2 intake and 70mm TB. i have all the sensors(except knock) and hoses in the correct places. i pulled the plugs they were pure black(so i cleaned them) cleaned IACV. the car sputters under throttle and idles like it has HUGE cams.

adjust your thottle postion sensor. should have 0.50v when throttle is closed.

you have 3 wires, the middle is what you use to check (thats the ref volts). and then just use battery for ground.

btw idk what the the volts are suppose to be for a dsm

 

i've calmed the idel down so it doesn't sound like it's been "Killer Camed". but the exhaust is still quite black/smells horrid(i don't have a cat)

Something is wrong because it should run just fine with those mods.

Did you calibrate the TPS sensor when you installed it on the new 70mm t.b?

Did you port match the sk2 manifold to 70mm?

If you didnt your actually loosing power with that t.b if the sk2 manifold isnt port matched! like 5-8 hp! I would highly recommend taking it back off and port matching it if you want to use that size throtle body or use your stock t.b or a smaller one. I think the sk2 manifold is at 65- 67mm from sk2. check there web site on info on port matching there manifolds.

Did you route all the pcv hoses corectly, it should be the same as installing a ITR manifold so you can fallow the hose diagram for a ITR if you didnt know.

 

I agree w/the others- mine idled like crap, fell on its face under throttle, till I played w/TPS. S2 manifold and 68mm TB. Definitely double check the vac hoses! Hope you kept that little plastic box under stock GSR manifold- I re-used under S2 manifold...
