Default Will my exhaust setup work? Or fit? (2000 Si)

What's up HT,

I'm not experienced with cars as much as i'd like so i thought i'd ask for some advice so you can shed some light. I have a 2000 Civic Si.

Basically, i'm changing my exhaust system. This is how i'm planning to have it setup for now:

Toda Style Racing Header 2.5"
Magnaflow High Flow Cat 2.5"
Stock Exhaust 2.25" (I believe)

I'm curious if this is going to work. I'm not on the verge of upgrading my catback just yet since money is pretty tight but would this fit?

If so, i'm worried how i'll get the HFC to fit onto my stock exhaust. Can you throw some advice my way? Thanks yall.

Yes it will fit...

Take it to a exhaust shop and have them weld it all in for you...and while you are at it, do the rest of the system with a magnaflow muffler out back...

btw...this probably won't get you any real performance gains...just a heads up.

Yes i know. I'm not planning at all on removing my cat. I live in Cali so i don't want to risk anything. I'm sure you understand.

My header and high flow cat will bolt on since they're both 2.5" though yeah? The only thing they'd have to weld is the high flow cat to the stock catback.

Is that header carb legal?

The cat is fine as long as it's a cali cat.

I don't think the stock exhaust is 2.25'', but I could wrong. Also, DON'T weld the cat to cat back.
if you do that it will be a major pain in the *** to ever remove the exhaust!

I'm not too sure if my header is carb legal.

What do you recommend?

I have a crack in my exhaust manifold right now and that's what's making me upgrade my exhaust system. Just want to fix it.

Find out. Cali cracks down hard on that ****, so I'm told.

Magnaflow is fine, as long it's okay to use in California. some new rule they just came out with.

Replace it then.

I would advise bringing the set up to a shop to get it install, just in case you're unlucky and the fitment is short by a few cm they can cut and extent or vice versa.

Sweet thanks man. I just wanted to be sure that this setup would work. I didn't want any problems.
