Hey guys. Okay I've got an issue here. I have a 1993 Acura Integra with the original ys1 tranny AND clutch. When I first got the car it shifted decently, no grinding. It slowly got worse and worse, and now over the past 2 or 3 weeks the 3rd gear grind has been so bad I'm scared to even shift into 3rd so I just go straight from 2nd to 4th haha. The clutch is super hard to push in as well. A couple of my buddies that are pretty knowledgeable with cars have said it's the clutch, bar none. But I've heard different things. When I go from second and I'm about to slip into third, I basically feel it bouncing of moving parts and I slowly move past that and then into gear.It's hard to explain, but the shifting is just horrendous. I drove my friends TL and forgot what it felt like to have a smooth clutch, I miss it. So what do you guys think? I'm getting a 1,400 dollar grant this week, and /i plan to invest it into this. Do you think it it's the clutch for sure? If so what kind should I get? If not then what should I do? I appreciate the input, thank you!
