HELP! Viper 5904 shock sensor warn away keeps triggering?!?!?
No idea why! I had this professionally installed and I can literally stand 100 feet from the vehicle and I'll get a shock sensor warn away when NOTHING is around!!! I observed the area because I keep getting warn aways via the remote. I had to put the alarm trigger in silent mode because its pissing off people. Anyone know WHY??? Thanks.
First stage impact, [warnaway] senstivity set too high.
Poor ground on main unit.
Improper placement of sensor.
Defective unit or sensor.
One or more of the above.
Take it back to where you had it installed and have them check it. 94

Ok. Would ANY voltage drop trigger it? They also installed a drop down tv that has a button when you push it that has lights that turns on when you open the door (they mounted the tv over the dome light area and the tv has two lights that act as a dome light). I noticed that the button that either turns the light on or off (dome light when door open) is a on (blue color). Would that affect it? With regards to the shock sensor, I know they already replaced it because previously you would walk up to the vehicle (proximity sensor) and get the two warning chirps and the alarm would immediately trigger. Sucks having to go back, trying to avoid it... anything else that may trigger this?
Does this sound normal: When I scroll through the remote Level 3 (Sensor Bypass) and try selecting ANY of them it tell me function not available. Is that right?
The shock sensor should not be triggered by anything other then impact, [vibration].
A voltage drop, if enough, will trigger the alarm, I beleave the Vipers would trigger if voltage drops to 9V or below.
Any problem with dome lights, or dome light wiring, would trip the alarms door trigger, not the shock sensor. 94

Shock sensor adjustment will be in your install guide.

Thanks. Seems to work fine. I guess its doing what it was intended to do. It kept going off in a parking garage, but I think that that is due to vibration from the floor shifting when heavy trucks come by. I'm good with it. Very happy with the alarm!
