Starting problems after removal/installation of FI ECU fuse
I have a 2001 Civic Lx. I was going to be away for several weeks, and as I would be leaving the Civic at home, I had pulled the #6 FI ECU fuse from under the hood as a precaution. When I returned, after reinserting the fuse, the vehicle behaved as if the fuse was in fact still removed- it would crank, but act as if it wasn't getting fuel to start.
The next morning I started off checking fuses. All looked ok visually; to be sure, I switched both the #6 FI ECU fuse and the #17 fuel pump fuse from under the dash with two of the headlight fuses (all 15A) that were demonstrably working.
The fuel pump does not prime when the key is turned to position 2. I've confirmed power to both fuses with a test light. With the key in position 2, if I remove and reinsert the #17 fuel pump fuse, I can hear both relays under the passenger side dash clicking. After pulling off one of the injector harnesses, I confirmed power to it as well.
I had no electrical problems or related issues before removal of the FI ECU fuse. What did I just get myself into? Thanks in advance for any help.

Fuel pump sticking. Give the fuel tank a couple of whacks and see if that gets it going. Had to do the same yesterday on my eg.
