I am new to the forum and here to seek some help for a 1993 accord lx I just purchased. It has a leak at the passenger floor that I have traced to rust perforation at the air scoop just beneath the windshield at the passenger side.

Well the image above says it all, seems like the seal between the two subframes allowed water to seep and the rust ate away.

How much would it cost to repair at a body shop?

Would a rivet gun, sheet metal, epoxy do the trick if I did it myself. I can definitely say that is where the rust extends to.

Thoughts?
