Icon6 Help assembling Rocker Arm Assy,

Hello,

Does anyone have experience trying to re-assembling a vtec rocker arm assy? I mistakenly took the bolts after removing it and of course if fell apart. I have the manual that shows you how to rebuild it, but not where the tab goes on one of the rocker arms. It's either in front of or behind a tab on the mounting bracket. I had it behind and it was very hard to actuate, but having it in front doesn't seem to put any pressure on the lifter.

I am attaching both examples, if you know how it goes please let me know.

Thanks.

It's an F23A1 from a 1998 Honda Accord.

Nevermind. It the manual, on a later page it shows that the "timing plate" goes in front of the tab, photo 1.
