Jsyut wanted to let everyone know he broke into the 9s on the 3 runs that i saw. The funny thing about it was that he was still runing hte glass and had registration when everyone else was a full blown race car. Anyways i jsut wanted to give him props on his great runs. I was cheering for him the whole time even when it looked like he had to run Gardella

I was there and his car seemed tobe running really really well. He was really consistent all day through time trials, qualifying and all the way up until end. to Jason Hunt on his win at the IDRC at Maple Grove.

 

i saw a 9.87 when he raced. his car is sick.i got a couple of his passes on video tape, i think i got the race on tape where he almost beat impo's race car, i think he lost by .2 seconds, that was awesome.

yeh thats ran a 10.20

 

he ran 9.80's 3x and 9.90's twice. went over 150mph took first place and $3500. NO WHEELIE BARS in a street legal crx. quickest/fastest STREET LEGAL honda in the world. period.

Jason's car is badass!! He's the coolest racer I have ever talked too...he shared tons of info on his car. That thing is simply amazing....like the fact that he's using a stock fuel rail and lines. Well except for the return line. Ok, let me stop running my mouth.

You do need a parachute along with other safety gear. Did he have his lisence? Thats pretty sick. He should add some wheelie bars and get the car to go faster. No shame in that. I still dont like the term street legal because theres nothing leagal about a engine that can make that much power...

 

he doesnt have a parachute as today was the first time he went 150 mph. He does have a license however and he also has a nhra certified full cage.

I just got off the phone with him, and to be honest hes one of the coolest most down to earth guys drag racing a honda. Very very humble.

No wheelie bars, almost stock fuel system and no block girdle lol

take out where i said "street legal", and insert "street driven" even though he has an inspection sticker. not to mention, theres plenty of states that would allow jasons car to run 100% legally. tons of states/counties still don't require emissions at all.

No wheelie bars in full street class trim 3 inch turn down but all street gear.
Nineseccrx I have had my licnsense since june and my cage certified before then, because of my trap speed, so I was ready just waiting to hook, only non legal thing on my car was no shute, but I hit 150 once and went 148 the rest of the day temp was chilly it helped. best e.t. of the day

Everyone thanks for comming up and giving me props it really hit me on the ride home,still cant believe it we had been trying since summer slam.As far as winning the quick class I had a lot of luck, but was still so slammed by my first pass I did not even care what happened after that.I am floored.
