k20/k24 S2000
Hey whats up K20a...just posting up a little sneek peak of my k24 frank swapped s2000. Almost 100% finished. I have one more tune session for my nirtous tuning and some adjustments. I have some more black anodized skunk2 parts to put on the motor. Plus im going to change up the suspension setup and swap rims. Its sitting on ap1 wheels and stock suspension with lowering springs so its kind of a sleeper in my area. More in depth build thread with more pics and videos coming soon. Will be adding stuff i miss on this post...enjoy
K-tuned and Skunk2 are the main companies that made this swap possible.
*Numbers: not going to throw exact HP/torq numbers out because rumors on the streets but barely 300HP and over 200 ft/lbs torq on first dyno session.
Planning to extract more on second session and start my nitrous tuning.

thanks guys...excited to get it all done and post some more videos of pulls and races...i chose to leave all motor bc the s2000 was designed to be a all motor track car...but it didnt have the torq...anybody can boost their motor...but i am planning to rebuild and boost this motor in the future lol...the k20z1/k24a2 and the f20/22 are similar in design...ea: the heads, chain driven etc...the swap didnt cost much at all and didnt take much time to complete bc the motors are so similar like i mentioned the the k24 dropped right in place in the engine bay and everything hooked up straight over. how many do you see with 600hp plus stock k series motors? ALOT...the motors are stronger all around and have more tuning capabilities...ea: vtc gear/ivtec...what im trying to point out is that you can make power easier, cheaper, more realiable with a k series in stock form...everything is stronger...their knock sensor system is superior...bigger bores and strokes...more torq...so you could spool up turbos faster is you did boost it stock...just better powerbands and power in stock form...and then building it up would be easier for the guy on the budget bc of all the aftermarket support for k series...you dont have to worry about FRM sleeves like the f series does so we can run any pistons we want without worrying about sleeving...then we have the insurance that we wont be spending alot of money if we blow the bottom end up bc we can go to the junkyard or online and find a accord, tsx, crv, element for a replacement motor for half or even less the price you would pay for a f20 or f22...so its alot cheaper and easier to keep racing with the motor...its not like i swapped a motor from a different company its all honda blood line...just using a great honda platform and great honda engine to make a better car
