Is it rare. civic/crx vtec Racing coilovers 20kg/front 25kg/rear brand new from 1990 in box never mounted on a car

like new even the color of the threads is pristine

As far as I know, Mugen discontinues chassis specific parts, i.e. coilovers, aero, etc. when Honda stops producing that chassis. They also discontinue universal accessories in favor of new ones every few years. Most of the new stuff that you will find for older chassis are new old stock, or overstock that never sold for whatever reason or sat around somewhere.

Brand new coilovers for 1990 model civic/crx are definitely rare. Nice find!

they might be unused and in perfect condition but are they useable. dont shocks have a shelf life if not used?

I have new in the box set of 4 rears, and waiting on a pair of rebuilt fronts to be shipped to me. I also have 5 pairs of springs new in the box. 17.4k, 19.6k and 20k fronts and 21k and 25k rear.
