Stealing Preludes?
I'm just a tad bit curious. Do people steal Preludes? I bought a 5th gen a few years back & I was really on my toes of how my lock up procedure goes. !)alpha lock 2) Club 3) 2 way pager.
Many 5th gens owners in my area park theirs on the street with little to no form of security. I've sort of adapted the same routine. I initially parked it at the garage in school, now I park it on the street with nothing but the 2 way pager on. Then i got too comfortable and started to disable my alarm and just park it.
Its not like I am inviting a thief to come take it, I am just starting to think the procedures i take are just uncalled for, for a Honda Prelude.
What do you think? Do people steal Preludes? lol

I don't have a prelude, but I will say this with all seriousness.from personal experience with my teg getting stolen,do NOT change your state of mind to feeling comfortable.when you let your guard down, that's when they'll get you..
I kept my car parked on the street and never thought it would happen to me,then it did.lucky enough for me,they just joy rode it for a week before I found it,but most people are not so lucky.if it gets stolen, there is a high possibility that you could never see it again.
And yes,I am trying to scare you.I'd hate for anyone that loves their Honda as much as i do to go through it.

**** man why would you have an alarm and not use it wtf and my cousin had a prelude 5 th gen and it got stolen at his apartment complex. its still a honda. all hondas can be stolen easily if not cared for.
You know what, just get an alarm with two-way paging with motion detector so if they try to tow it with a flat bed....a backup alarm battery so if they try to magnetize the main battery you got a backup...get a steering club...a foot club and call it a day. If they want it then and manage to get it, then they earned it. If you plan on parking the car in a bad area for a long period of time, just pull the ecu fuse before you leave.

Well i seen a report come out last year that said the number one most commonly stolen car in the united states was a 97 Honda Accord. Why i don't know because personally if i was going to steal a car i would steal something worth some BIG $$$$$ and have a hell of a time beating the guts out of it but that is just my opinion.
But if a 97 accord is the most common i see the prelude being very close in comparison just because it is a very similar car and there are dumb fu*&s in this world that would jack somebody's ****

I never get relaxed with security, when you put a lot of time and
effort into customising your prelude the way you want it, you definately
dont wont to have it stolen and have to start all over again.
