Tucked away in a secret location, and sitting unused for many years, this S500 has had only two owners. Paint has been touched up in a few places, but otherwise it appears largely original - radio included. I just need to find an S360 and I've collected the full set. Neko.

Wow, what a find, looks to be in excellent condition. Does it run? Steering wheel looks like it's the plastic kind from an S800, and is that trans/drive shaft tunnel cover original? Never seen one like that, then again it is an S500!

 

Supposedly, it ran when parked. The owner parked it here simply because he was, 'too old to drive it'. That was 20-something years ago. To my limited experience, the tunnel cover and steering handle do not look original. Not sure if S500s had wood handles, but if the 600 did, then may be the 500s should too? As to the tunnel cover, it just looks wrong... Neko.

 

What a find! Though I imagine if you take it away, the neighborhood will lose a landmark: the car in the ground floor study.
