I was looking around and found some KYB GR-2 / Excel-G Shocks for about $200 that i was thinking about putting on my civic. Want to know if anyone has used these and if they are a good selection for every day driving.

General consensus: Too soft, lack of control, blow out in a year if you're lowered. Get Konis.

 

Those are pretty much a oem replacement shock. If you are on stock springs they are fine...if you are lowered at all than read post #2 again

Yes.

 

I won those from koni last year on their online give away, felt new for about 3 months on new in box Tanabe DF210 springs (1.8in drop I think). Then the typical lowered ride quality came back.
