Icon6 After Viper 3303 install, door locks dont work.

I had an autopage peice of crap and sensors would die rather quickly for some reason..

Anyways, Since the same wires were used for the AP, I got a new Viper 3303 from a authorized distributor (not retailer)

I just swapped everything over as all the wiring is pretty much the same.

After getting everything hooked up, everything works but door locks do not.

I took off wires and grounded to body and they work which means the alarm module isnt controlling them. Is there an internal fuse inside?

I cant send it back to Directed cuz they will say to have the retailer check it then send back. So Im stuck on what to do.

I figure one of you alarm guys would know what to do.. Thanks

Can you elaborate on this?

Was the (H2) lock harness configured for a negative output?

What kind of car. and are you sure your using the correct port for the locks and not the bitwritter port. mThey need to do something about that. Causes alot of issues with diy as it will mess up the alarm brain.

I used the wiring guide from the autopage and compared it to the viper. then swapped all the wiring over one by one. As far as any configurations, there was not any config options in the manual.

99 Civic, Like said above, I used the door lock wiring from the old alarm and swapped it to the new viper door lock wires. I saw the port and havent plugged anything in there.

I guess Illl just replace it again with a better alarm then the viper.

The issue isn't the alarm but the install.

Just to make sure:

The door lock/unlock harness is H2.

The Blue/Black and Green/Black on the H2 harness splice into the appropriate wires at the drivers kick panel.

If its not working then the wires are wrong or the settings are incorrect.

Wait. I totaly mis read this. The viper 3303 is a different brain and does not have a Thre pin plug in for the keyless entry. It used a on-board relays to control keyless entry. You need to ground the purple wire on the door lock harness for it to work. Its the one with the two fuses. Do not change anything in the menue. Its not needed.
