Default gsr build questions. any input is appreciated

picked up a gsr long block and i am going to be re-building it to swap into my beater 94 ls that has 180k on it. this is a budget build because i have acquired so many parts over the years. i am not trying to cut any corners, just save money where i can, so i have some questions. this is what i already have.

95 gsr long block-500(supposedly has 85k on it. came with pr3 cams,i thought they were gsr. =[) will be getting gsr or other cams.
aebs gsr mani/aem fuel rail and fpr-50
thermal intake gasket-30
new oem 81mm p73-a0 pistons/pins/rings-120
new oem valve seals-30
new oem head gasket(pr3 gasket. will it fit?)-55
new s2 tuner springs-100
new gates timing belt water pump and tensioner-165
del sol b16 trans(i believe, came with b16a3 swap i purchased for 800)
new ferrea valves-115.
cometic bottom gasket kit-100
will be using oem bearings.

what can i reuse from the old swap?
when switching to the p73 pistons do i need to get the R/A rebalanced or can i weigh the 2 on a gram scale and gring the p73s to be the same weight.
for retainers/keepers what should i use?
65 or 68 mm tb?
i am looking for this to last, i dont want to do this again and this is my dd so i cant afford alot of down time.
anybody have any suggestions?

Question: Why run SK2 springs with stock cams?

And i would run the throttle body that matches up to your AEBS intake mani.

You probably don't need to but it's recommended. Since you have it apart you should get your cylinder walls honed too.

I would use the head gasket for the engine as well. Replace timing belt, tensioner, water pump and oil pump while you have it apart. It's not cheap rebuilding your motor but if you want to do it right and make it last long it's going to cost you.

Oil pumps are different part numbers.

95: 15100-PR4-A03

98: 15100-P72-A01

I'm not sure what the difference is but I would use the one for the engine.

GSR and LS oil pumps are different. Im pretty sure people use the GSR oil pump on LSV builds because they flow better and have high pressure ect. But its been awhile so i cant remember. But the part numbers you showed seem to be 1 for an ls and 1 for a gsr. (pr4=ls) (p72=GSR)

Use the P72 oil pump b/c it is a Vtec pump(more rpm) than Pr4. Quite a big difference on rev limit
