Default diff in d series heads

any body know what the difference between a JDM d15b head and a z6 head. i've got the z6 in my car and the JDM head on the bench, what i'm wanting to do is port the JDM head and put it on the z6 block if it's worth while.

If it is obd1, there's really no difference besides the cam (none worth noting). The only difference will be the milage, a lot of JDM parts tend to have much less milage on them. The compression was altered with different pistons/strokes, not with the head. The vtec ZC head is also essentially a z6 head, while the obd2 d15b and 3-stage vtec heads were based off of the d16y8 head.

I'd say send the d15b cam into Delta to have it reground to a 272. It will be under $140 total and get >20% more power over a stock cam (with basic tuning and mild boltons).

i got the head and cam they both have about 80,000 on em. i didnt know if there was a flow difference or not. so what i'll do is get me a intake gasket port match and just blend and smooth it out.
