Default Noob timing question.

I have the belt back on, I go to turn the crankshaft 3 teeth counterclock wise and it goes maybe 1 tooth before I can turn it anymore. Question is in the right up I foillowed I was supposed to jam the cam gears at up and marks even with block. Do I remove the pins I put in to stop the cam gears from moving before I turn the crankshaft?

Yes, the cams, [or crank, it will turn a little] will not move unless the pins are removed. 94

Thanks, so just to clarify so I dont have to keep messing with it. Once I turn it 3 teeth the cams WONT be pointing up and the line wont be lvl and thats right correct?
