Remote wire on 2000 Acura Integra
So I was replacing my power antenna and I noticed that for some reason the 12v is always on. As far as I can tell it is supposed to turn off when the radio is off so that it goes down? Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
Power ant. will have at least three (3) leads...
Ground
12V+ constant, [hot at all times].
12V+ switched, [hot only when radio is on] on some OEM HUs the switched lead, [trigger] is hot anytime HU is on, whether playing radio or cass./CD.
If your power ant. plug has a yellow/green it is the switched lead, [hot when radio on].
The 12V constant needs to be there or the ant. would not go down when you turn off the ign. 94
