95 honda accord v6 4lug to 5 lug
hello guys how are yall am writing this tread not because i aint be doing research but because am asking for things about my car frist off i own a
1995 honda lx v6 2.7 engine with front and rear disk brakes . i want to do away with the 4 lug and do the 5 lug upgrade . just most all the info i come up with is for car with drums in the rear mines already have disk all the way around it has 15 " stock wheel the stock size tires is 205 /65 /15 i have 195 /65/15 on it . i know that has nothing to do with what am asking as far as i see like most of my stock parts will be used ..from my under standing i will be using these parts that already on the car.
front and rear calipers .
my front knuckles . not the hubs and bearings
from my understanding these are the part i will be needing
for the front
23T caliper brackets (2)
95-98 honda odyssey front wheel bearing and hubs
98 - up acura itr rotors .note** am going use these for both my front and the rear i can get them in a set
and for the rear
97 - up honda prelude rear hubs and bearings
20 lugnuts
and rotor screws
and 4 wheels 5 x 114.3 with a 42 offsets
here where my qustion comes in will my stock cv work with the odyssey wheel hubs i dont think they had the same spines teeth . is there any thing else that i missed . am not tripping bout cost because i can get parts dirt cheap at my pull apart . and i do work on cars so i will be doing all the work .
when am done i plan to run rims from the new civi si the white rims . for now later on i will be doing sum other type rims . right now am just tried of the 4 lug. and i need sum new hubs in the rear away so i might well upgrade while am at it

If you have a V6 then you already have the 23T (or maybe 25T) front caliper brackets. The other option is to use 28T but only if you go to an Acura caliper that went with a 28mm rotor. You can also use 96 Prelude rotors.
On the rear, the 97-up Prelude hubs are too deep for the spindles, so you should (and I say should) get the spindles from a 98-02 Accord, 4 or 6, doesn't matter. They are longer. You will have to have them pressed out of the rear knuckles and into the 95 knuckles. Also, you will need to put a .100 shim on the spindle before you press it in. Or, you can put the shim under the nut that holds on the hub. The first way is more permanent. Then the right amount of threads will be in contact with the hub. Some folks say they get by without doing that, but I don't like to take those kind of chances.
I found all that on the web before I turned the first wrench.
Once you have gone to 5-lug, you can do other neat things like use 300mm front rotors with NSX calipers. And that's just for starters.

The original post hurts my head quite a bit. The reason no one mentions changing out their CV shafts is because you don't need to.
