Default Alarm Recomendations

Unbelievable. My 91 Accord was stolen in Denver 9/20/2012 and recovered 1/12/2013. They put 1,000 miles on it then abandoned it in a residential area. It sat there for 2 months with no plates and the driver's window rolled down collecting leaves, dust, and snow inside. No exterior damage. Doesn't look like any interior damage except for being dirty. They removed the Thule rack and plates but left much of my stuff in the trunk.

Looking for car alarm recommendations.

Check out the audio forum. Consider multiple kill switches and a stealth alarm install.

DEI is the usual suggestion. They own Clifford, Viper and Python alarm systems. The best install is going to be one you do yourself and not Best Buy or another commercial installer. Personal opinion though, if it's a stock Accord I wouldn't go through all that trouble. Maybe just install a blinking red or blue LED and put it on the dashboard as a determent. I think my alarm install on my Accord was ~$500 and that was with all the labor done by me over 3-4 days.

Are the pedal lock clubs also worth buying?
