hey picked up my first dc integra. its a 97 5 speed rs model. i got it with no engine so it has no engine harness. now im going to be putting in another b18b which is obd2a. now i understand the eg and dc both have 2 piece engine harness's. can i use the engine harness from an eg? or do i need to find one from a dc?

 

You will need one from a DC, they will be different lengths. Put a b18C in it? Contact rywire (thats what I did) for 500 bucks you can get an awesome tucked harness that is guaranteed to work.

 

If you don't wanna pay 500 and don't care for a clean look you can get stock engine harnesses off ebay, for around 200, i bought mine for like 180 and it was in perfect condition. but ya use the engine harness from an rs or ls

 

a friend of mine told me you can use an EG cx/dx/si engine harness if you extend the iacv wires. i have yet to try but im still looking for an integra harness but can anyone give any insight on this?

 

I really don't think you can make it work without the DC2 harness. The hole in the firewall that the harness is intended to run through is much further away than the civics. Unless you plan on removing the A/C and running the harness through that plug?

 

isnt it like the eg where it doesnt have to go through the fire wall because its has a seperate interior and engine harness? has the same 3 plugs by the strut tower like the eg
