So I ordered the vtec conversion for my P06 (model 1720) from Xeoncron and I have a question about the IC14 (high side vtec?) chip.

I came across one set of instructions that suggested that I cross over 2 of the wires before the installation, as such:

Usually I would follow instructions with no questions, except some of the other instructions I seen made no mention of crossing over the the wire, including from the actual website I purchased the kit from:

I'd love to hear from other people who have made this conversion as to what they did with this chip.
