First car being an ES1 Civic, Then traded that for an AP1 S2000,... now after a bunch of random cars (997.1/997.2/991/GT-R/Exige/Etc) back in the Honda world with my K24z7 Ariel Atom 3...

opted for the K24z7 over the K20z3 because of the tq. (no longer being made with the k20a)

Real nice, the best go kart for the street ever. I'm a little jealous.

 

only took 3 months of paperwork to actually drive it on the street, for some reason the NHTSA doesn't like the idea of 0-60 in 2.6 seconds without any safety equipment or body panels.

 

Wish I could eventually get one of these, so sick. Looks great man

 

what do you do when it rains?-pretty cool, is it practical?-no.

 

I couldn't see why not haha, body panels just add weight anyway. Either way that thing is a beast. What are your plans with the car(go kart)

Omg I would daily that and take the longest roads I could find to the places I needed to go just to feel that excitement! So jealous...ThumbsUp..

 

you honestly dont get wet till you slow down, i took a 500 mile trip across florida and back.. whole way back was raining.. only helmet and top of shirt got wet... once i got below 20 then i got wet... the windshields actually do a great job with the air.. makes a bubble around your body.

but on a day to day basis, i dont drive in the rain on purpose... not because i dont want to get wet (i keep a rain jacket in the car for that).. but because of the other drivers on the road in the wet.

just been driving it, 1700 miles in a month and a half now.. great to drive... wish i lived in the mountains however because when i had it in VA/NC/GA/SC it was a little more fun on the backroads.


as far as practical, i have other cars.. this was my 2012 lineup... i almost added an h1 hummer this year for my bday but the seller and i couldn't agree on terms..



maybe a continental gT soon here..

Op, amazing stable, what do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

 

took me 3 weeks to even attempt WOT and thats me coming from a GT-R and other fast cars.. the car just has a lot of torque and low weight so any quick throttle input means the back is digging for traction.. i can go 80mph and spin the rears if i give it WOT in 4th.



i used to do online sales, sold the business and just relaxing for now.. lot of people always want more and more.. but my mindset is i'd rather enjoy everything now than something happen and regret busting my ***... not aventador rich, but that's ok with me..
